Friday, November 12–Cooper Long, “Who’s Afraid of Videophobia? John Frankenheimer and Early-Sixties Screen Culture”

Please join us this Friday, November 12th from 11:00am to 12:30pm in Cobb 311 for our next Mass Culture Workshop.

We are excited to have Cooper Long (PhD Candidate, Cinema and Media Studies) presenting a paper this week entitled “Who’s Afraid of Videophobia? John Frankenheimer and Early-Sixties Screen Culture.”

Richard Neer (Barbara E. and Richard J. Franke Distinguished Service Professor, Art History, Cinema and Media Studies, and the College) will provide a response.

Access to the pre-circulated paper is provided through the Mass Culture listhost.

Note that due to capacity constraints for in-person meetings, we will be required to observe a 25-attendee limit for this workshop.

Please email Wolfgang (boehm@uchicago.edu) and Zach (zyost@uchicago.edu) with any questions or concerns.

We look forward to seeing you there!
