Reserving Rooms
Affiliated students may reserve rooms controlled by the Department of Music on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to departmental academic and/or social programming. Room reservations must fall within building operating hours.
All room requests for the purposes of administering the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University and GSU-UE should be directed through the UChicagoGRAD Room Reservation Form.
To reserve space, students must email Alison Balaskovits at abalaskovits@uchicago.edu during the academic year with the following information:
- Name and email of the person leading the event
- Title of the event
- Description of event
- Date of event
- Start and end time(s) of the event
- Estimated number of attendees
- Preferred room
- If there will be any food served

Advising and Registration
Registration dates and deadlines can be found at https://registrar.uchicago.edu/calendars/registration-dates-deadlines/
Students should receive information from the Student Affairs Administrator regarding registration dates, deadlines, and any quarterly updates. Before registering, students will meet with their assigned faculty mentor, who will assist students in making a plan for course of study. Students can consult with the DGS about challenging or unusual situations. Please direct any registration issues and requests for instructor consent to the Student Affairs Administrator.
