This workshop is a forum for those interested in practical philosophy, understood broadly to include normative moral philosophy, meta-ethics, action theory, moral psychology, political philosophy, and theories of practical reason. Our activities comprise graduate student presentations of dissertation chapters, outside speakers, and faculty presentations of their own works in progress. We serve an ever-evolving campus-wide community of scholars who are interested in the following pair of questions and their relationship to one another: What is it to act? What is it to act well?
Faculty sponsors: Anton Ford, Jason Bridges
Student coordinators: Adam Katwan, Ben Conroy
