Raphael Lee, MD, ScD, is a very experienced plastic surgeon with special interest in tissue engineering for repair of the chest and abdomen, nerve injury, varicose vein repair, and the correction of scar and contour deformities. He has pioneered functional reconstructive surgery methods for correction of congenital and acquired gynecologic defects.

Dr. Lee is regularly selected as one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by several local and national publications. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, MacArthur Fellow, and Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
