Welcome to the SOSC Writing Program

The SOSC Writing Program aims to teach students to write well as a means to advance their own thoughts. Our programming is tailored to the needs of each SOSC sequence and relies on a stable of Writing Advisors who are trained to work with students on their writing with an eye toward strengthening arguments. Advisors offer one-on-one consultations and small group workshops to deal with aspects of rhetoric, structure, the use of evidence, and suggest meaningful strategies for revision.
