Our scope of work

Launched in 2019, our program supports students with all facets of their writing as they complete SOSC, and helps instructors align their writing assignments with their course objectives. All students enrolled in a SOSC sequence are invited to make use of our services. (Look under the “For Students” tab for more information and the schedule for when our office is open.) This year, our program staff will support over seventy-five sections of SOSC, across six different sequences:

• Classics of Social and Political Thought
• Democracy: Equality, Liberty, and the Dilemmas of Self-Government
• Mind
• Power, Identity, and Resistance
• Religion: Cosmos, Conscience, and Community
• Self, Culture, and Society

Instructors and students in other sequences are also welcome to make use of our services.
