April 5 Workshop

Our first workshop of the spring quarter meets Monday, April 5 to discuss the Court Theatre’s current production of Tony Kushner’s adaptation of Pierre’s Corneille’s “The Illusion” (running now – April 11). We will be joined for the conversation by Charlie Newell, Artistic Director of Court Theatre, who directed the production; Larry Norman, Deputy Provost for the Arts at the University of Chicago and specialist in 17th- and 18th-century European literature and theater; and Drew Dir, Dramaturg at Court Theatre and Lecturer in Theater & Performance Studies at the U of C.

In preparation for the workshop, we encourage everyone to take advantage of Court’s discounted ticket rates for U of C students & faculty. (See ticket information at the end of this post.)
