October 14th

Abigail Akavia, Minerva Stiftung Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute for Theater Studies, Leipzig University: “Cassandra, Hecuba, and anti-Tragedy: Hanoch Levin’s Theater of Suffering”

**Please note this workshop occurs in Classics 113 from 4:30-6p on the 14th.

This workshop is cosponsored by the Jewish Studies Workshop.

October 30th

Ethan Simmons, MAPH student, University of Chicago: Excerpt from “One on One,” a one-act play.

November 4th – RECENTLY ADDED!

Davesh Soneji, Associate Professor, Chair of Graduate Studies, Department of South Asia Studies, University of Pennsylvania will be presenting a new paper on devadasi women’s performance in South India.

** Please note this workshop will take place in the Logan Center from 5:00 – 6:30. 

November 20th

Marianna Staroselsky, PhD Candidate in Comparative Human Development, University of Chicago, TBD.
