This past Wednesday, WiC+ members listened to Professor Sarah King discuss how she became interested in chemistry and decided to pursue it as a career. Her insight into what opportunities were critical in moving her forward and how academia has changed (in chemistry, collaborations, gender disparity, etc.) answered lots of questions from our current graduate students and post-docs.
We’re looking forward to the next WiC+ Career Talk, which will be given by Ka Yee Lee in early December.
