The workshop has three main functions:

(1) It is a forum for advanced graduate students to present papers and receive feedback.

(2) It is a forum for all members of the workshop to translate and discuss ancient philosophical texts. In the academic year of 2023-2024, we will be reading Hippocrates’ On Ancient Medicine.

(3) The workshop sponsors talks by distinguished local, national, and international members of the ancient philosophy community.
