The workshop has three main functions:
(1) It is a forum for advanced graduate students to present papers and receive feedback.
(2) It is a forum for all members of the workshop to translate and discuss ancient philosophical texts. In the 2017–2018 academic year we will be reading Plato’s Charmides.
(3) The workshop sponsors talks by distinguished local, national, and international members of the ancient philosophy community.
Note: Anyone who believes they may need assistance to attend or fully participate in the Workshop should e-mail the graduate coordinator, Rory Hanlon (firstname.lastname@example.org).
