The Accelerating Colorectal Cancer Screening and Follow-up through Implementation Science (ACCSIS) led by UChicago cancer specialists Karen Kim, MD, MS and Blase Polite, MD, MPP, are one of three nationwide grantees awarded nearly $6 million by the National Cancer Institute’s Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot Initiative.
The ACCSIS’s research will target underrepresented populations in Cook County.
