Background
Eos Trinidad received his Joint PhD in Sociology and Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago. He is currently negotiating a tenure-track assistant professor position at the University of California Berkeley.
Research
Integrating the sociologies of education and organizations, Eos Trinidad studies institutional change, organizational networks, and education policy. In particular, he looks at the role of “outside” organizations in K-12 education policies and practices as well as the organizational changes in higher education. His research has been supported by the National Academy of Education, American Sociological Association, and the Asian Development Bank, and these studies have been published or are forthcoming in more than 30 peer-reviewed journals including Educational Researcher, Socius, Sociological Inquiry, and Social Science and Medicine.
