Three talented graduate students in our lab, Rui, Miao, and Zining, have been awarded the Elizabeth R. Norton Prize for Excellence in Research in Chemistry, the Frances E. Knock Scholarship, and the Everett E. Gilbert Memorial Prize for the Best Third-Year Experimentalist in Organic Chemistry, respectively.

The Everett E. Gilbert Memorial Prize for the Best Third-Year Experimentalist in Organic Chemistry was awarded to a third-year graduate student in the Department of Chemistry for excellence in experimental organic chemistry. It was created and endowed by Prof. Phillip Eaton to honor Dr. Everett E. Gilbert, an early mentor of his at the General Chemical Division of Allied Chemical.
