While our events are open to all at students at the University of Chicago, if there space constraints we give priority to EUChicago members and support their applications for events with the wider international organization, as well as giving access to the European Horizons alumni network. Students who are interested in being more involved, or wish to work on a research project are encouraged to apply following the link below.

Applications open in the Fall of each year and we usually have a winter cycle as well. Applicants are expected to fill out a short form and attend a ~15 minute interview to explain their areas of interest to assess fit for cohorts.

We look for applicants from all kinds of background and majors. The one thing that is common in EUChicago members is the desire to discuss current affairs and learn more about the EU. Through open discussion, critique, research of current affairs and interaction with experts we think there is something for everyone.

We also have annual recruitment for board positions and elections, with preference given to current, highly motivated members of the organization. In addition there are opportunities to apply to positions to the European Horizons Executive Board.
