About Us

EUChicago is the UChicago Chapter of European Horizons a student-led EU policy think tank set up at the European Students Conference 2015 at Yale. Naturally we are part of the North American network of European Horizons chapters.

We aim to connect UChicago students and scholars with EU policy, transatlantic political issues and the historical, political, economic and social dimension of European integration.

What we do:

1. Work in research cohorts to learn about various aspects of the EU and publish articles (see our publication section)
2. Organize speaker events with academics, former/current politicians and experts, please see our events tab to view our upcoming schedule 
3. Send our members to conferences including:
   1. The European Horizons’ flagship European Students Conference (ESC at Yale)
   2. The Digital Economy Youth Summit (DEYS in Brussels)
   3. Midwest Regional Conference (MRC hosted at UChicago last year)
   4. Spring Forum (tbc)
