After taking a break in 2020, Hyde Park Holly-Day is back for its fifth year, scheduled for Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sponsored by the University of Chicago in partnership with Downtown Hyde Park, the South East Chicago Commission, and the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, the Hyde Park Holly-Day celebration offers FREE holiday-themed outdoor activities for you to enjoy in the neighborhood (indoor activities canceled this year due to COVID-19).
A new addition this year is a Hyde Park Holly-Day augmented reality photo effect – after scanning a QR code, people may take a holiday-themed selfie, family photo, or video via Instagram or Facebook – complete with animated falling snowflakes.
