Feb. 8: Rebecca Scharbach Wollenberg on the Hebrew Bible after the Rise of Christianity

The Medieval Studies Workshop is pleased to invite you to its next meeting, to be held on Friday, February 8, from 12-1:30 PM in Wieboldt 207.

Rebecca Scharbach Wollenberg, PhD candidate in the History of Religions, will discuss her dissertation chapter, “Written Torah as an Ambivalent Descriptor: The Text of the Hebrew Bible after the Rise of Christianity.” Lisa Scott, PhD Student in History, will offer a prepared response.

Coffee and tea will be provided. Attendees are invited to read the pre-circulated paper and to bring a lunch.
