Mirmira Lab graduate student Kierstin Webster and postdoctoral fellow Jacob Enriquez presented at the Human Islet Research Network (HIRN) meeting held September 19-21 in Washington, D.C.

Kierstin reported that “Human Islets Exhibit Sex Differences in Transcriptional Response to Proinflammatory Cytokines,” while Jacob discussed “Engineering Functionalized Lipid Nanoparticles for Targeted Beta-Cell Therapeutics.”
