Constitutional Law and Advocacy Conference

The University of Chicago Moot Court Team is excited to announce the second annual Constitutional Law and Advocacy Conference!!

This program is specifically designed for motivated high school students who are interested in constitutional law and oral advocacy. The conference will include seminars on Supreme Court case law, guest speakers, and workshops on legal argumentation. At the end of the week, conference attendees will have the opportunity to present both sides of their prepared argument in a simulated Supreme Court oral argument.
 
The program will run from August 19th to August 23rd on Zoom from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM CT with a 1 hour lunch break.
 
Interested students should apply below. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with early round applications accepted by 11:59 PM CT on June 10th and regular round applications accepted by 11:59 PM CT on July 8th
 
Tuition for the 2024 Constitutional Law and Advocacy Conference is $275. Students who are currently enrolled in a Chicago Public High School are eligible for the Chicago discount and will be charged a discounted tuition of $100.
 
We have partial and full scholarships available for our 2024 Conference. Students who anticipate requiring any form of financial assistance are invited to apply for financial aid on their conference application. Financial need will not affect application decisions and we will meet all financial need such that cost is not a barrier to conference participation.
