Planning for this year’s Michicagoan Conference is underway, and we are seeking volunteers to help with things big and small! The Michicagoan is a graduate student conference in linguistic anthropology, held annually between the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan. This year it is again our turn to host, and the conference will be held May 6-7.
We are holding a volunteer planning meeting this Friday, January 8th in the Linguistic Anthropology Lab (Social Science Research Building, basement 001), from 12pm-1pm. Please join us if you would like to help out with the conference. As I mentioned above, there are many tasks with varying time commitments.
