Hello MEHAT attendees, please join us for our first MEHAT workshop of the spring quarter with Oğuz Alyanak, a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Washington University, St. Louis. He will be presenting his paper entitled “The Migrant Coffee House: A Place for Empty Men?”, which deals with coffeehouse socialization among Turkish immigrants in Strasbourg. The workshop will take place this Wednesday, April 4th at 1:30-3:00 PM in Room 218 at Pick Hall. As always, food and beverages will be served.
