MEHAT Workshop with Sylvia Wu, April 13

Dear Mehat attendees,

I am pleased to present Sylvia Wu (Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Art History) who will be discussing her paper “In the Name of Shiraz: The Stone Mosques of the East African Coast Reconsidered” with the discussant Prof. Ahmed El Shamsy (NELC).

The workshop will be held in person on Wednesday, April 13 from 12:00 to 13:20 pm at Pick Hall 218. Please try to read the attached paper for an informed discussion and please do not cite or circulate papers without authorial permission.
