The Mirmira lab published a new study in Journal of Biological Chemistry. First author Ebru Ermis, a former lab undergraduate, found that leukotriene B4 receptor 2 (or BLT2) promotes macrophage migration during inflammation in mice and zebrafish. The next step is to identify the downstream factors of BLT2 that mediate these inflammatory responses.
