1. Notes

Below are class notes that cover the same contents as the videos, divided into three main topics: Units of a Poem (செய்யுள் உறுப்பு, videos 1-6); Types of Poems (பாவகை, videos 1-4); and Kindred Types of Poems (பாவினம், one video).  These notes do not follow the lectures verbatim. The contents have been rearranged, dropped, added or otherwise modified after the lecture, therefore the points made in the notes are an update compared to the corresponding videos.
