Description: Most Americans know the story of the Great Chicago Fire. Few know the story of the city’s remarkable recovery. The architects who rebuilt Chicago comprised one of the greatest architectural talent in U. S. history. Their achievement was no accident, even though the opportunity had been created by accident.
