April 16: Monica Black

Please join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe workshop on Wednesday, April 16 to welcome Monica Black, Associate Professor of Modern European History at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We will discuss a chapter she is contributing to Michael Geyer’s and Adam Tooze’s Cambridge History of WWII volume, “The Ghosts of War,” and a project proposal for her current book project, “Evil after Nazism: Miracles, Medicine, and Moral Authority in West Germany.” Both papers are now available on Chalk.

The workshop will be held in the John Hope Franklin Room (Social Science 224) from 5:00-6:30, with refreshments following discussion.
