Please join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe workshop and The Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies this Wednesday, October 15 to welcome Professor Jochen Hellbeck (Rutgers) and discuss his paper “Battles for Morale: An Entangled History of Total War in Europe, 1939-1945,” with commentary by Flora Roberts. The paper is now available on Chalk.
As usual, the workshop will be held in the John Hope Franklin Room (Social Science 224) from 5:00-6:30pm.
Jochen Hellbeck, a professor of history at Rutgers University, is the author of Revolution on My Mind: Writing a Diary Under Stalin. He is currently writing a book about the clash and the entanglements of Germans and Soviets in the battle of Stalingrad.
