4/4 Maureen Healy “Just because we are poor and have become small”

Hello Colleagues,
We hope you are doing well. We wanted to remind you about the special session of the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop tomorrow, April 4 at 5:00. We will be welcoming our invited guest and UChicago alumni, Maureen HealyAssociate Professor of History and Director of Exploration and Discovery at Lewis and Clark College. 
 
She will be presenting her paper, “‘Just because we are poor and have become small, we should not stop ourselves from always remembering the glorious times’: Small Austria and the Türkenbefreiungsfeier of 1933.” Commentary will be provided by Alice Goff, Assistant Professor of German History and the College at the University of Chicago. 
 
The session will be held in Foster 103 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. There will also be a reception after the event.
