Sudeeti is in the MAPH program with a concentration in philosophy. She is also doing French language studies and plans to study German and Greek. She enjoys reading Aristotle and Freud. She thinks the best writing she has ever read has been in French.

Sudeeti chose this topic because she read Badiou’s essay in English and wanted to read it in French. She is interested in the classical theme of love while being a dominant part of our contemporary imagination. Sudeeti comments: “I thought it would be fun to present something about Badiou, a philosopher who also describes himself as a lover.”
