Lattice Lightsheet – Upgrades including new laser stack, dual cam and new laser shielding are in place. Software functions are mostly the same as before, but if you would like a quick run through before your first session please let us know in advance so someone can put you on their calendar.
Leica SP8 – Update January 13, 2025 -Clanking sound has been resolved!
SP5 2-photon and SP5 STED – For explanations of SP5 2-photon and SP5 STED long-term deficits, please see their microscope page descriptions.
SoRa Marianas – December 9 – the LED light bar in the incubator box is malfunctioning. We have set up a temporary light bar with a push button switch. The switch location is marked on the incubator box. Imaging is fine, so once you have placed your stage insert and sample and turned off the incubator light all should be normal. Update December 23 – OKOlabs is sending a replacement LED bar, which should arrive after Winter Break.
Caliber ID – January 10, 2025 – Windows has malfunctioned on the Caliber PC. We will attempt to restore from the December backup, but in the meantime the machine is not usable.
