
Dr. Irit Sasson
Dr. Irit Sasson is a faculty member at the Department of Education in Tel-Hai College, the director of the “Science Initiative” in the Eastern Galilee, the director of the Evaluation Unit at Tel-Hai College, and a researcher at the Golan Research Institute. She received from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in science education. Dr. Sasson’s research interests include development of high-order thinking skills, learning and assessment methods, and computerized learning environments. She was the director of the National Center for MUTAV science Teachers at the Technion Institute, and the director of the Sidney Warren Science Education Centre for Youth at Tel-Hai College. She is a member of the steering committee of the “Future Scientists and Inventors”, initiated by the President of Israel Mr. Shimon Peres, Developed and managed by the Rashi Foundation and the steering committee of the “Development of inquiry thinking skills” in the Golan municipality.
