Dear Colleagues,

Please join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop and the Music and Sound Workshop this upcoming Wednesday, October 25th from 4:30-6:00 pm for a special joint session. Our meeting this week will be held in the Logan Center, Room 801. Please note the exceptional time and location of this joint event.

This week’s presenter will be Rebecca Epstein-Boley (PhD candidate, History), who will be sharing the dissertation chapter “‘Dö von der Damenkapelln’: Hearing Identity in German and Austrian Women’s Music Ensembles around 1900.” Dr. Colin Benert will respond.

This week’s paper is now available on our TAMEW Canvas page, and on our website under the heading “Current Paper.” Feel free to get in touch with us at tgoldsmith@uchicago.edu and rceb@uchicago.edu with any questions or for the website password.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!

Best regards,

Tahel Goldsmith and Rebecca Epstein-Boley
