Bigfoot
Droplet-based cell sorter with both traditional and spectral capabilitiesHome » Cell Sorters » Bigfoot
Overview
The Bigfoot is a beast of a cell sorter.
Features include:
- 5 spatially separated lasers (349nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 640nm) and 55 fluorescent parameter detectors
- Spectral Unmixing available but not required
- Faster plate deposition for 96 well plate, 384-well plate, and 1536-well plate – can go through a 96-well plate in ~10 seconds
- 200 um scatter resolution
- Automated startup and calibration
- Encased in biosafety cabinet
Use Traditional Compensation
No filter limitation to capture emission from any fluorophore
Smart bandpass design – larger bandpass filters for commonly used fluorophores
Use Spectral Unmixing
Instrument optimized for spectral unmixing
Used for high-end cell sorting
Some controls available in the instrument library
Sample Preparation Tips
