Funding Opportunities

As a service for all researchers at the University of Chicago in the Biological Sciences Division, the Office of Faculty Affairs provides information on funding sources for research and other scholarly projects.

Faculty seeking external and internal funding for research are encouraged to visit this site for announcements of upcoming funding opportunities. We will primarily focus on limited, internal (UChicago), and early career opportunities. This is by no means exhaustive, but meant to be another resource to help faculty find funding.

For some funding opportunities, the University is limited to one nominee. For these, we include information on how to submit a pre-proposal to be considered for the slot. The BSD deadline may be well in advance of the agency deadline, so check the limited opportunities page often.
