Here’s some more information about Montreal: the food is really good over there. While I was doing my Master’s, we’d decide on which restaurant to visit by just looking at them. If it wasn’t a chain, and looked fairly clean, we were pretty sure it would be awesome. Our strategy never failed us.

Not sure where to go? Let me suggest the restaurant where my cousin works. Yes, you may say that he is tied to me by blood. But is it a tie of blood to tie my tongue and rob a brave man of his just reward? No sir! My cousin is Chef at the Paname, a renowned French Bistro! Go there an enjoy! – Edit 05/11/23: I’m told my cousin now works at Verdun Beach!

Now for some music! Robert Charlebois is a staple of Quebec’s musical pop culture in the ’60s and ’70s, but he wrote the cheesiest song about Montreal. ‘Je reviendrai à Montréal’ goes heavy on mustard over winter. Winter in Montreal is ok. Winter in Quebec City is much colder – and way more fun!
