Cardiac Tumor

If the majority of the tumor is intracardiac / intravascular, the peripheral edges of the tumor likely do NOT represent margin (they protrude into the vascular space).
However, there may be an associated / attached portion of cardiac muscle or vascular tissue. This portion likely represents true surgical margin and should be inked.
As with any tumor, serially section, photograph an entire section, and submit at least 1 section per centimeter.
